Been a little bit since the last update, but with the first week of warm weather here in the northeast we are starting to see some good fish and insect activity. Managed to help land some trout in NY, NJ, and PA over the last few weeks. Primarily been landing items on nyphs (mostly midges) but have seen some trout feed on the surface a bit as well.
I got to sneak out last night and fish for myself and landed my personal best Brookie on a small south eastern PA stream in Chest County. I feel like most of the rivers I fish in NY any brookies I catch are but this one while only 11 inches really put up a fight.
Here to the weather holding up and the activity only growing.
